USSSA Power Rating...
USSSA Power Rating is a formulated value based on a team's winning percentage, as well as the winning percentages of the teams beaten and lost too. Power Rating can fluctuate even when a team is not playing. Each team in each classification is given a Power Rating; the highest rating is Ranked #1. The Power Rating rewards teams for winning; more reward is given based on the strength of the team beaten. The Power Rating penalizes you for losing; less penalty is applied if you lose to a strong team. When teams play in tournaments against easier teams they will not be ranked as high. A win or loss by forfeit is not calculated because the game was never played.
